When I accelerate my van engine cuts and backfires. There is black smoke from tail pipe and an odor of ski-doo fuel. I scanned but no codes, I cleaned egr valve, replaced tps sensor but no luck. Help!
also smell a lot of gas and hard on gas.

TPS won't do that. You might suspect a failing MAP sensor. As long as its voltage stays between 0.5 and 4.5 volts, it won't set a code, but it could still be reporting the wrong value. Check the vacuum hose to the MAP sensor. A leak will result in a low vacuum reading which the Engine Computer interprets as heavy acceleration so it will command more fuel. The MAP sensor is screwed right into the intake manifold on the rear-wheel-drive engines but I think your 3.0L still has a hose.
