I have a 1999Chevy Suburan, is there a way you can trouble shoot the engine control computer? The reason I beleive it is the issue because it does not have the problem all the time, Sometimes the engine will not start, does nothing, the interor lights don't work the battery is strong and fully charged all connections are clean and tight. I had a diagnose ran on the engine and it showed no error. What else could it be other than the engine control computer?

Hello,

It sounds like you could have a faulty ignition switch.
Sometime when the switch goes bad it will give intermittent issues like what you are experiencing. The ignition switch is where the ignition lock cylinder attached to. There are several pin in that switch and over time they get corroded or burnt which leads to issues.
To access that switch you will have to remove the steering wheel as well as the lock cylinder.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
