My truck sways back and forth at highspeeds (around 70 MPH) when I hit a bump or if I accelerate fast. I do have alot of play in my steering wheel, and it seems to get better if I keep the steering wheel turned partially to one side to keep the steering tight; it wont sway nearly as bad. I have recently replaced the ball joints and had a allignment. What else could it be?

Is it 2wd or 4wd? Was the whole front end checked or just replaced the ball joints then aligned?

4wd. They said they looked at it and everything looked fine. But I know they had trouble aligning it.

Have the control arm bushings and all balljoints rechecked. Also check for a loose sway bar or bad ilder arm if it gets worse when you hit a bump it has to be a ball joint or control arm bushing that is bad. Or an idler arm. But have it rechecked.
