No RPM when in drive or reverse, but RPM response when in park or neutral

I just bought this a month ago and the accelerator or rpm response so quickly. One day when I use the car, the rpm won't response in drive even when the accelerator was on the floor. Tried to accelerate when in park or neutral mode and the rpm works. When I engage drive or reverse, no rpm response.
I cleaned the throttle body and even replaced the fuel transfer pump with used (used part works perfectly) but still the same. I suspect the cluster panel because I opened it before all the problem happened but I cannot see any connection from the cluster to the main issue. Please help. My car is in my parking area for three weeks now.

Hey THONZEN,

What exactly did you do before the fault started?

After removing the cluster you then had no drive right after?

When you are in Drive or Reverse and you press the accelerator nothing happens?

Regards, Joe

Thanks for the reply Joe. Before the problem started, I replaced the rear CV joint, I opened the cluster coz I checked 1 light. Now the driver power seat won't work, the mirrors are not working and no rpm or accelerator when in drive or reverse.

It sounds like the car is in limp mode. here is a guide to help you fix it:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/reduced-power-limp-mode

the seat and mirror are a separate problem you should start a new thread for that.

Please run down this guide and report back.

Thanks for the reply Ken. Sorted the power windows and seat. 1 mechanic checked by obd2 and he reset the check engine then we tried to run test, about 1km drive, the vehicle just stopped, we pull over on the side of the road and checked the issue, and found out that no more negative supply to the fuel pump and to the fuse box in the engine compartment. Engine cranks but it won't start. Tried swapping original computer box and 1 that I bought from the scrap yard but still the same. Removed battery cradle and found lose engine ground and corroded terminals so I cleaned all terminals and connections, but issue still the same, no check engine light but when the other mechanic checked with other obd, he said there's 2 ground fault or something.

Did you service the throttle bore? This sounds like the correlation issue between the throttle actuator and the computer. Can we run the codes again?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

When the engine stops can you hear the fuel pump running in the tank?

Please run down this guide and report back.

Again, thanks Ken. I took the car to the garage and total of four mechanics with knowledge in electrical including my self checked the wiring's. One wire going to the fuse box got burnt and we replaced it including the fuse box that I think got burnt too (attached is the broken fuse box) after we replaced those parts and checked with obd reader again, there is a U1000 error code and one more that we cannot identify. I also bought a used computer box because I thought it was the issue.
We noticed that all ground supply is dead that is why the fuel pump not functioning, fuse box no supply of negative but has positive supply.
