When I step on the accelerator pedal I hear a rattling noise which stops when I move faster or if I do not move or stop. It does not happen on turn. Only when I stop and begin to accelerate. Please help me out as I use my vehicle daily for my kids activities and have no idea if it is safe or not.

Get a code read and see if the knock sensor is faulty. If this sensor is not working the ignition timing will not advance or retard with engine loads and ignition ping will result, start here.

Say they do not know, now the fact is our dealership here is not trust worthy. That i's why I got so frustrated about it. Scanner will not read anything, Nissan has no idea.

If nothing with the knock sensor, get the oil pressure tested, also remove the external drive belt and run the engine. If the noise is still there it will be an internal problem. This will help start the process of elimination.
