The vehicle will start when engine is cold, after driving for a while the engine shuts off and the car will take approximately forty five minutes to restart and there are times the engine will have to really cool off to restart.

Hello kenroy,

It seems fuel pump is the problem when its warm fuel pressure decreases.
as a first step check fault codes to narrow the issue:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Check fuel pressure:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Check picture 1 compare fuel pressure value with the table.
Then run our guide engine stalls while driving:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-stalls

If you get fault codes sends us for more diagnosis.

Send us feed back we are interested to know what was the problem.
Thank you
