I have a 2005 Dodge Neon. 41,000 miles. I shifted it into drive and the car would not move. I checked the transmission fluid and it seemed low. I put in a quart and noticed that it was leaking the next day. Is it possible for the transmission fluid to leak into the coolant system. It seems as if the transmission fluid is in the radiator hoses. I flushed the radiator and the next day it still seemed gunky. The transmission fluid is low everyday also. There are puddles under the car but can't tell if they are from the coolant system or the transmission. Any ideas?

Since the pump pressure in the tranny is greater than the coolant pressure in the radiator, the fluid can get in the coolant through the trans fluid cooler in the radiator, if the cooler is burst. Coolant may or may not get in the trans fluid after trans pressure drops below coolant pressure.
