Found my leak. Appears the tranny mount was over tightened and it cracked the housing. I added a photo to my other thread. Any ideas of it can be repaired or is replacement my only option?

Ok I read your reply on site so now clean as much as possible with brake or choke cleaner, try to file out crack with a rotary file or dremel tool if you have one. Then either use devcon for aluminum or jb weld for aluminum and fill where you have made the crack larger. Let dry overnite or longer if possible.

When I resemble should I leave that bolt out? Will 3/4 bolts be good enough untell I get around to replacing the tranny? As I don't have the missing piece for the bolt sleeve.

Dont' bother taking trans out to fix this if you can reach it. I did give some wrong info however, the trans should be replaced because a front wheel drive input and countershafts put pressure on back of case and even after repair it will break again, even if it were welded.
