Had to replace ignition switch someone broke toothpicks in the key slot when they stole it. And my battery died got another one. The inside lights and have panel all light up. Alarm light blinks the door chime works when key is in. When I try to start it it was not doing anything after checking wires to the key sensor plug it would make a ticking noise in the globe box. Is this the anti-theft system?

If the security light is flashing while you are trying crank the engine over the alarm system is cutting the starter/engine run operation. Did you have the new key initialized before or after installing it? Each key has its own RF chip in it try to hold the old key next to the new key while it is in the ignition to see if that makes a difference.

Pleas let me know, Ken
