I have the car listed above v6 3800. I was driving home but I decided to go to store first. When I got back in the car to start it I making a clicking noise and the lights would go on. So I tried starting the car 3 more times did the same thing the the fourth time it was dead. I got a jump and it took a long time to get it started. I drove it home. I got up to go to work the next day and went to start my car and all I heard was the clicking noise.

Hello,

This sounds like your vehicle's battery has failed. It probably has a dead cell in it. I would get a new battery and install it. Here is a link for a guide on how to install a new battery, if needed:

Also here is a link on how to test your vehicle's alternator, once the battery is replaced, as well as how to use a Digital Multi-Meter (DMM), again, if needed.

Please go through these guides and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
