Completely shut down and has not started since?

Recently purchased the vehicle, it has been running just fine. It got really cold last weekend, I got up for work and it fired right up, I got to the highway and it all of the sudden did a jerking motion forward and shut completely down and has not started since.

This sounds like a fuel pump or crankshaft angle sensor. We need to see if it runs on starting fluid and if so, we can suspect the fuel pump or relay if not the crankshaft sensor may need to be replaced. Also disconnect the MAF sensor and try to start it if it runs replace the sensor.
