My Jetta has a 1.8T, sporadically it will not start when the engine is hot. I wait 30 or 40men and it start right up. Also, it will always crank whn this happens but will not start and ther are no codes. Help, VW is guessing and saying that the do not know but I could try $3000 worth of repairs, but they do not know if this will fix the problem.

Hi clairemac,

Thank you for the donation.

When engine cranks and cannot start, something must be missing and it could be sparks or fuel related.

You need to perform tests to understand what had gone wrong.

Click the " First Things To Check " link at bottom of post to get an idea what to look for and let me know what you find.
