I recently purchased this car for my daughter. I have replaced the O2 sensor, crankshaft sensor, valve cover, coils, plugs, struts, and finally the throttle position sensor. I have tried three times to relearn the throttle body with no success. Any suggestion as to how to get this car back in running condition?

Good morning,

Let us start with the exact issue you have. You have replaced a lot of parts but have not stated the issue.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

Does the starter turn over the motor?

Is it a crank and no start?

What testing have you done. I see the parts you replaced but what tests have been done?

It will turn over. The starter is fine. The valve cover was the initial problem when I bought it but of course when placed on the scanner, it uncovered the other problems. So I fixed and replaced everything that the scanner coded wrong and now I cannot get the car to crank. It will spin over but will not crank.

Okay, so it does crank over.

What were the codes? Codes rarely identify bad parts, just failed systems. A clue might be there for the reason it will not run.

Did you check fuel pressure and check for spark?

Also, compression should be checked.
