My car's power steering assist fails when I rev over 4,000 RPMs.

Sometimes it returns quickly and sometimes I will come back to my car later and will still be difficult to turn the steering wheel.

What part(s) should I check that can possibly be the culprit?

Good morning,

This could be the drive belt slipping when the RPM is high. At that point, the tensioner is not keeping the belt tight.

I attached the instructions for the belt and the tensioner.
