Runs good when first starts and drive it until I come to a stop or go up a hill it wants to stall out some times does. I then have to push it let it sit for five minutes and when I go to start it it coughs try again and starts up drives fine until once again come to a complete stop or a hill gets in my way. Please help me figure out what is wrong with it. Thanks for everything.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

Based on your description, it almost sounds like there is an issue with low fuel pressure. Since the vehicle struggles going up hills and you notice a low idle, that is the first thing I would recommend checking. Here is a link which describes how to check fuel pressure:

I would like to get the fuel pressure specifications for you, but all my sources say that a Civic of this year 1.5 or 1.6L engine. Both the 1.5 and 1.6 require the same pressure. Look at picture 1 for that information.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
