My front passenger side window will go down but not up, I replaced the entire motor and regulator system and it still will go down like normal, then it won't go back up, when I push the button it makes a sound in the motor but then does nothing, ( in both the new and the old motor) it is a 2000 with 112,000 miles HELP ME PLEASE! I just got the windows tinted, that is when I figured out that the front passenger side would not go up, I can't try the other windows for another day or so to let the tint set. A couple days before that the front drivers side sounder kind of labored on the way up, then it would not go up at all, then I waited a while, tried the button again and it worked just fine. What is up?

Switch or the wires
try to unplug the motor
use a test light press the switch up test the wires one have battery + and the other should be B-
know press switch down the order should change on the wire
what was B+ should be B-
and so on
if not u have problem with the switch or wire
u can try jumping the motor to go up

good luck

I got the same problem kind of. If I take it down past 90% (10% still up) it jams up and stays in the down position. If I grab it and pull up and towards the back of the car it un-jams the mechanism and it can go up the rest of the way. Not exactly sure what going on down there, could be that the arm or lever or whatever isn't pushing on the window in the spot it should, that could create and angle that jams it. Who knows
