Volvo issue with locks and windows

Hi,
2006 S40 - Volvo
Driver's side doors do not lock with alarm button. The main window panel on driver side does not work for passenger side windows. The driver side windows will go down occasionally but you have to slam the doors. It is a fuse or the wiring?

You could have an issue with the A-Pillar wiring conncetors. Open both front doors and look inside by the door stop. You will see the connectors there. Using a small flat tip pocket screw driver, release the tabs by gently pushing up on it. That will release the connector. Reinstall and remove several times to clean any corrosion build up. If that works then you would need to replace the harness. Also remove the door panels and inspect the connectors at the door modules for water intrusion causing corrosion at the connectors as well. Let me know what you find?
