My a/c works fine at times, but after 30 minutes specially when is hot outside it only blows regular warm air, I was told that it is the ambient temperature sensor, I understand that it is located by the rear view mirror, is that correct?
somebody else told that it is located on the outside mirror(left side)
any suggestions? Please I would really appreciate your help on this matter.

Thanks

What you described is typical of low refrigerant charge, and when someone charges the system after it was opened for part replacement and they didn't pump it into a vacuum first to remove the humidity and moisture. Either way, my guesses are as valid as a temperature sensor. You need to have the problem properly diagnosed. Sensors in the mirror are typically for the information center. Temperature sensors for the AC system are inside the car.
