I snapped my clutch cable. I have bought a new one and it matches the old one exactly. I can feed it through the fire wall and attach it to the pedal and can attach it to the clutch fork but it will not go into the bracket correctly. The fittings with the thread, nuts and washers to secure it to the bracket are down further than they need to be. If I attach one end to the pedal and hook up the fittings and nuts and bolts in the bracket, the bottom end will not reach the clutch fork. I cannot pull the cable out any further to make it reach. Both parts match and are exactly the same so what am I missing? Also, I have routed it exactly the same as it was before.

You are not missing anything at all. You just have to play with the adjustment part of the cable a bit. I have had to replace the clutch cable on my Fox a couple of times. I would maybe first install the hook at the clutch pedal then skip the bracket for the time being and then go directly to the fork. Then you want to adjust the two washers and nuts to fit over the bracket, this may take some muscle. Once you get the nuts and washers adjusted correctly over the bracket tighten the nuts up good, then test Clucth pedal for play and engagement.
