Hi, my car has a 3s engine and a five speed limited gearbox. With the car or not being driven, I can change through all the gears one through five or back down.
But once the car is driving I gear up with no problem, but once am gear down between fourth to third gear I feel a lock with the shifter, as if I cannot change from fourth to third, but no problem from second to third.
Can you please explain it to me?

Sounds like a faulty syncro, may be try changing the transmission oil fist to see if that helps, but it will probably need replacing, which in essence will be a total rebuild.

A friend of mine say it has a lock from fourth to third gear. As a result of safety or something, as its a limited five speed gearbox.

Nope, it sounds like the transmission syncro is worn out which slows the gear enough to engage to the output drive gear.
