1994 Toyota Pickup Won't start, just a click.

1994 Toyota Pickup 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

When the key is turned I just hear a click. Engine does not turn over. Checked the battery and battery connections. Good. Pulled the starter and checked that, good. If I push and pop the clutch, it starts right up.

Inspect and test the starter relay and ignition switch.

Hillbilly the starter directly to a push-switch and battery to start the engine with key at ignition position. Ignition switch is bad, work sometime once it is bad. Notorious problem with toyota pickups.
