My 1982 toyota pickup hadnt been ran due to engine problems for about a year. I fixed the problems and ran it today. I went up a steep hill and then around the neighborhood and the clutch pedal became very loose. It has no pressure and when I acelerate it revs up to 4000 rpm's and hardly goes anywhere? If its the master clutch whats the best way to install a new one?

Sounds more like you need a clutch assembly-up to 4k rpm and hardly moves-its slipping

The best way and least trouble is buy the clutch master and slave already assembled and install and cut the wire tie and you have clutch. If can, t buy complete then you must bleed system. Goodluck billymac
