1991 Toyota MR2 car dies

Car runs wiht poor power on D, and when shift to second gear stall n dies, if I put it on first gear car have power, but if I sift it to second engine light comes on the dash and dies.
I put the car on the air, wheels not touching grround, car runs ok. Wont die and no engine light, what can be tha problem?

Hi there,

The first thing you need to do is go get a scan done to see what the set fault code is (check engine light) report back any codes for assistance.
