When I started my car this morning, it started for approximately 5 seconds, then stopped. Now, while it will turn over it does not start. We replaced the battery, but that didn't fix the problem. Any suggestsion?

Sounds like your starter or alternator going bad. If you had it turn over and then just stop, it's the alternator. If it clicks, but won't turn over, it's probably the starter.

You may want to check and see if it's getting fuel. Sounds like it could be a fuel pump of a fuel filter. Have some one stand near the tank while you turn the key on without starting it and see if they hear the pump run, you should be able to hear it for about 3 seconds. If you can hear it then check your fuel filter. You can break the fuel line loose on the engine side of the filter and onec again turn the key on without starting the car and see if gas shoots out. Be careful not to be around any open flames.
