WATER PUMP SHAFT BROKE. REPLACED IT AND THE TIMING BELT, BUT NOW IT WON'T START.

Did it jump time when the water pump failed?

Maybe, the car just died when the water pump went.

Have you performed a compression test yet?Everything timed correctly?

The timing marks line up, but I don't have the tools to compression check it. Is there a senser or something that would need to be replaced or reset.

Auto zone rents compression testers again I would check the compression of all the cylinders.
