My camry recently has been making that all too familiar "whining" noise on the right rear passenger side wheel. I just assumed that since the car has over 130000 mile on it -that it would be a matter of just changing out the wheel bearing as I have heard this type of noise in the past and that turned out to be the problem. So I have the bearing assembly replaced and to my dissapointment -its still making the identicle same noise -as if I hadn't changed out the bearing at all. I've had new tires just recently put on--so I'm not thinking they are the problem since it was making the noise before I had them changed to begin with. I was told by other mechanics that it could simply be a "bad " bearing assembly that I purchased. And I could just try again. But it seems odd the noise would be "Identicle " as before even if the "replaced bearing assembly was bad. Any ideas?
