Bogging down over 30mph?

My 1999 Toyota 4 Runner SR5 with the v6 AT 106000 miles was coding that it was running lean. We changed both Oxygen sensors and now per the computer there are no problems. If you apply the gas quickly or try to go up a hill it boggs down almost like it is flooded and will not go over 20 miles an hour. My mechanic has been ripping into it for days and cant find a thing wrong with it. SO far no one I have talked with has ever heard of a 4 runner having this problem.

It sounds like the MAF sensor needs to be replaced or the catalytic converter has come apart and is clogging the exhaust system. Please go over this guide and check out the images below.

Also I would change out the fuel filter, check out the images (Below). Please let us know what you find.
