Balance shaft belt broke does it have to be aligned? Or can I just put it on?

Hi,

Unfortunately, these have timing marks and if the engine moved after the belt broke then you will need to re-align it. It may not need to be moved but you must check it to ensure the marks are lined up. In order to do this you are going to have to spin the engine to line up the crank mark and then the counter balance shaft will spin separately.

In short, you are going to have to set it back up.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks
