Hi I bought a 2005 toyota corolla and when I picked up the car it keeps on revving when I press the clutch to change gear is that normal

This is common when the engine has a vacuum leak, or the throttle body need to be cleaned. here are three guides to help us fix it, please check for vacuum leaks when the engine is cold.

Hi, my nephew cleaned the throttle body and it did not do anything. I don't know what to do next. If someone please help only had the car for several weeks and the garage keeps saying to me it's supposed to rev when I press the clutch to change gear.
