Transmission problem
2004 Suzuki Forenza Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Manual 55000 miles

I have a 2004 Suzuki Forenza with a manual transmission. When I drive for long distances on the freeway I lose all pressure in my hydraulic clutch. The pedal goes straight to the floor and gets stuck. I have bled the line multiple times and have even taken it to a dealer who could not duplicate the problem ( by lack of a sufficient road test I'm sure). My master cylinder and my slave cylinder have no signs of leaking according to the mechanic. Any ideas?

Hi there,

If the clutch pedal goes to the floor and there are no hydraulic leaks the problem must be in the master cylinder. The piston seal is by passing fluid. So in-effect the piston is going to the fully depressed position with out actually pressurising the system (pedal stuck at bottom) replace the master cylinder and this should fix your problem.
