Engine Cooling problem
1998 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

i have just put in a new radiator and have driven it for five days with the heater on, today I turned the heater of and the car started to over heat and needed filling when it cooled down, would there still be a air bubble in the engine. Ive changed the water pump ect.
thanks

Hi, After The car Sits A while Take The Radiator cap Off, See If It's Low, If so Fill It To The top. Let Car Idle Without the heater On. Let It Run, See If the cooling fans Are coming on, Then off. See IF It's Bubbling In the Coolant Bottle. Also Was A Thermostat Replaced? If The Water Pump, Thermostat, And Radiator, And Pressure cap Was Replaced, And the cooling fans cycle Off and on. And It still overheats, Then You May need Head gaskets.

Hope This Helps You,
Good Luck
