I have clutch problems in the tailshaft assembly on my automatic transmission and it may take me awhile to decide how to repair/replace. How can I make a 2wd out of my 4wd. Early subarus were available as 2wd so it is surely possible.

Hi David Nelson,

You need a 2WD trans if you want to convert to 2WD.

The rear can be done by doing away with the shafts and differential. Just use the empty CV joints shell as hub shafts.
