STARTING TROUBLE

My ground cable is getting hot. My truck ran fine now it wont start at all, it cranks and cranks then once the ground gets hot it wont crank at all. The starter hot wire was loose so I rigged it to a tighter fitting matter. It stil doesnt start. I dont know what this could be. I need my truck for work badly and cant afford another on. PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like the sarter is drawing too much current.

Rigged? Bad move. Never works. What exactly did you rig?
