If it sits for a while, it doesn't want to start. It'll crank several times before it starts. Once it starts it dies. It started just dying on low idle. Now it's dying as it runs. It gave a power train code. P1335. It has a new harmonic balancer, crankshaft position sensor (the one on harmonic balancer, not bell housing) belt tensioner, alternator and radiator.

Just to be clear this is the sensor you replaced, correct? If so, you have an issue with the wiring circuit. I have included the sensor that should have been replaced in the diagrams below. You should check all the fuses as well.

Error code P1335 in a 1996 Nissan Maxima indicates a problem with the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) or its circuit. The CKPS is an essential sensor that provides information about the position and rotational speed of the crankshaft to the engine control module (ECM). This data is crucial for the ECM to determine the correct ignition timing and fuel injection timing.

When the ECM detects an issue with the CKPS or its circuit, it triggers the P1335 code. Several reasons could cause this error code to appear:

Faulty Crankshaft Position Sensor: The CKPS may be malfunctioning or sending incorrect signals to the ECM.

Wiring or Connector Issues: Damaged or corroded wiring and connectors related to the CKPS can lead to signal disruptions.

Sensor Alignment: Improper sensor installation or misalignment with the crankshaft may cause inaccurate readings.

Power Supply Problems: Issues with the CKPS power supply, such as a blown fuse or open circuit, can result in the P1335 code.

here is a guide to help you test the wiring and the PCM and crankshaft wiring diagrams below to help as well:
