I went out to find the right tool to tap on the starter, but I want to be sure I'm tapping in the right place. So where is it located?

I'm not getting much help from my helper so some of your questions I unfortunately cannot answer at this time, but what about if I were to take the batt out and have it tested? If I do that isn't there a code I have to enter when I out the batt back in and if so where do I get that code?

I thought you already had the battery tested there is no code unless the radio locks. If it does you will have to contact the dealer to unlock it.

I checked out the site you recommended but I can't do stage 2 because the starter will not turn over at all. What should I do?

Lol sorry about that. You will need to remove the battery and try it to an auto parts store they will test it for free.

Hey I just had a thought. (Yes that's what that noise was)! Since I have removed the battery and it is being charged by Interstate Batteries is there any way I can see if it will start using another car's battery? If so, how?

If you have a side post battery you can hook it up and crank it over. If you have battery voltage at battery cable at the starter and the purple wire to the the starter with the key in the start position. Then most likely you have a bad starter.
