When I put my car in reverse the traction control and stabilitrak light comes on. I have to put the car in park, turn it off and then back on, before it will go out. The lights only come on when I am reversing. What does this mean?

Also, the car has 20" rims and tires now, not the custom 16". Could the problem be the tires?

Hi, Amanda.

There is a program for the tire size re-calibration I attached the Information below for your reference, Check your suspension struts, shocks and springs for worn or broken parts replace if necessary. On the 2006 Trailblazer there is a technical service bulletin for reprogramming the BCM for false Traction control/stability lamp. I attach information below for you to follow. Please let us know if this information is helpful or if you need more info.

Thank you
