My car cranks but does not start

I checked the power into the coil is fine and out of the coil to the distributor. There is no spark from the coil cable to the distributor. What could be the cause?

Just so I am clear, you don't have spark from the coil to the distributor? If this is the case then the coil is the issue. More than likely you have the primary side but the signal needs to be interrupted to create the secondary or high voltage spark needed to run the engine.

If you have not replaced it then I would go ahead and do that and then retest. Thanks
