Shut off while driving and will not start

Going down the road at 45 to 50 MPH went to give gas wouldn't take it, made no sounds or anything. Sort of like a manual out of gear when you give gas. But mine is an automatic.

This is most likely due to poor transmission fluid quality or it is low on fluid. So I would suggest just servicing the transmission and then retesting the issue.
