I have recently bought the car listed above 2.0 SOHC. I had a friend and a fella at local parts house put on computer. Both said timing belt skipped 1 tooth and the Idle Air Control Value. We reset the light but it come right back on. The car runs great, my opinion don't think it has skipped a tooth, just runs to good. So should I tear down and replace belt an tensioner? An get new IAC valve? Or maybe clean mine? An I love 2CarPros been looking on here for about 3 years now to get advice. Thanks and this my first question to post. Thanks for all the help.

Good morning,

Remember, parts guys sell parts and are not technicians.

Let us start with the codes? Can you post them so I can check on the possibilities?

Okay, the 32 is for the EGR circuit. This may be a wiring issue.

The 54 is for cam sensor.

I attached the flow charts. Most of the time it is wiring that is the issues especially due to the age of the car.

Glad you did not listen to the parts guy.

Thank you. It runs fine though.I recently had problem. It kept blowing fuel pump fuse. I read a few post on 2CarPros and believe it was ASD relay going bad? I swapped fuel pump first, same thing. It would crank an idle. Then 10 minutes or so blows fuse. After that an little more reading I swapped relays.I have not blown a fuse but no my blower motor won't come on?I check fuses any idea on the? And again thank you I been needing you guys.

The relay you removed and placed somewhere else may be the failure. Did you replace the relay with a new one?

I didn't, but the one I pulled out is still out. Did I mention I got a 1997 neon as well? It was running and just quit. Then I bought the 1995.

I attached a wiring diagram of the blower motor system. Check the fuse for power on both sides.

Check for voltage to the motor.

I had a new coil for a 1997 Dodge Neon, so I sorta put it on the 1995 Neon.I swapped plugs as well. Could that be some of my wiring issue?

Sorry about that but I have recently run into problem with the car. When I start it, the idle is ruff and will barely rev.I have sorta wiggled the wires going to coil pack and it will pick up, but more you wiggle it get just about kill it. When idling I pull the plug loose then went to EGR an it bout went dead so I put it back real quick. My question is, should I start unraveling the tape on harness an look for loose connections? Thanks again for your help.

Yes, I would. You have an issue with the harness or the connector itself.

You are welcome
