When I drive my Saturn with the AC on or I let it idol my car starts to over heat. If I turn my AC off and drive my car then it starts to cool back down.

Are both cooling fans On when AC in use? If so try replacing thermostat and make sure the coolant level is okay

No the radiator fan does not turn at all and I wasn't aware that there was another fan. I asked a local parts store if it could possibly be my fan and he asked me if any of the blades were broken if not, suggested replacing the motor for the radiator fan. Could this be the correct step to try first?

Wrong, what happens if you replace the motor and it doesn't come on? Power the fan motor from the battery and tell me what happened. If it comes on could be the fan relay or the engne temperature gauge sending unit.
