My solenoid needs replacing, I've checked the started and fuses I've even went as for as manually trying to crank through the relay fuse. Now I'm trying to see where my solenoid actually is. Is it in the starter like most and if so can I just bypass the solenoid? And is it safe?

Good morning,

There is a solenoid on the inner fender on the drivers side.

The little wire on the solenoid should have power in the start position.

Can you test that with a test light to see if we have a wiring issue or something else?

I attached a wiring diagram for you to view.

As far as jumping or bypassing, it is dangerous and if you are not careful, you could cause damage to the wiring.
