Start with a check on the radio fuses.
Pull the fuse out and wait 20 minutes and reinstall.
Key in radio codes and test if it works.

Check fuse 8 (7.5 amp) in the driver's under dash fuse box. Also check fuse 48 (20 amp) in the under hood fuse box. Once you've checked these fuses get back with us.

Look in the rear hatch to your left and you will see a little storage door. Remove the door and on the back of the door you should see numbers which is for the radio/nav unit.

The old radio started to eat cd's, so I'm trying to replace it. I bought a pioneer x3500BTH (dd, bt, hd radio), along with a trim kit and wiring harness, later added a Scosche signal reducer. I wired everything up and everything worked in the AUX setting of the ignition switch. When I start the motor and am in the run position, the radio appears to be functioning properly, but no sound comes out of the speakers at any volume setting. Any help on getting sound out would be appreciated. Putting the ignition switch back to AUX position again gives the expected sound.

Recheck the wiring. At least one wire seem to be wrongly connected.

Really appreciate this thread and the experts! My 2003 MDX had radio out and center dash screen completely out. Everything else worked. Eventually I found cigarette lighter socket also didn’t work. Started methodically checking fuses and read this thread. My culprit was fuse #9 on passenger side under glove compartment. Thank you all for contributing and allowing for folks to fix things themselves!
