Sometimes our van won't start after shutting it off. It did that 3 times last summer but was good all winter. It has started the same thing again. If we let it sit for about 20 minutes it will start. We have taken it in to the dealer and of course after sitting it will start for them. Hope you can help

We had a similar problem a couple of years ago. Drive the car somewhere, shut if off while in eating or shopping and come out an hour or so later and it wouldn't start. Only in summer. Open up windows and doors (it's hot in side in summer) for 15 to 30 minutes and it would start. After a couple of years working with our mechanic, it finally happened to him. Turned out the computer is inside the passenger compartment and when the car was shut up the computer got too hot. Open the windows and doors and inside cools down enough the car would start. Replaced the computer and never another problem.
