2002 Pontiac Grand Am stalling

My engine stalls when I am driveing in hot weather but since it is has turned cold it is not stalling anymore also my transmisssion is not down shifting when I started haveing transmission problems the very next day my car started stalling.

The stalling could be a result of a stuck TCC solenoid (torque convertor clutch).

Symptoms are generally the car will stall when coming to a stop.

If not, then you may have a bad/stuck shift solenoid or debris is valve body.

I would change trans filter and fluid, look for any metal particles in trans pan.
