My car will not lock with either the remote I have put in or the automatic locks located on my door. I also cannot pop my trunk with the remote or the button on my door. Random lights are on my dash (low coolant, low washer fluid, trac off, seatbelt) and do not go away. Although the seatbelt light goes off after about 30 seconds. My daytime running lights don't work, automatic lights do not work, fog lights do not work. I was told it might be my ecm box.

Did you say you put in the remote system yourself?

No it is a remote starter and lock put in by a local company who said that the problem did not occur because of them.

They can say whatever they want, but it sounds like something they did.

A dealer won't touch it because of non-approved add- ons.

I would go back to them and have them check their work.
