How do you replace that starter on a 1994 pontiac grand am

Disconnect negative battery cable.

Remove electrical connections to starter (two).

Remove starter bolts (usually 2 bolts). Remove starter and carefully look for any adjustment shims that may be on starter.

Install new starter and old shims (unless new starter has same replacement shims included).

Hook up electrical connections to starter, connect negative battery cable.
