1994 Pontiac Grand Am starting

When I turn switch to start, nothing happens , not even a sound, its like there is no power going to starter, just installed starter, done it right it done the same thing before new starter

Hello, have you tried cranking it in neutral? Also, with the key in the crank position, do you have voltage at the s terminal, starter solenoid.

The starter solenoid sits on top of the starter, one of the smaller terminals should be the S terminal, goes hot with the key in the crank position. Make sure the battery has a full charge and the cables are ok.
