I have replaces fuel pump and filter. When I try to start the car it wont start unless starter fuild is sprayed into the intake then it will run for about 1 min and then die.

Welcome to the forum. Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores might loan you a fuel pressure gage. You can call and ask.

Check for voltage and ground at the fuel pump connector. Gray wire is voltage, black wire is ground. It is possible to have spark at the plugs and fuel pressure, even though the computer doesn't see an rpm signal, no rpm signal, the injector/s won't pulse. Are there any codes?
