My car runs fine but randomly dies while driving, let it sit for 20 mins starts and runs fine until it randomly dies again today or the next day. Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, cam sensor, coil pack, plugs and wires, still dies at random times. No codes, no missing, not overheating, nothing just dies randomly always while going down the road. Let it sit an the driveway and run for hours nothing. Drive it might die in 1 hour might not die for 2 days. But when it dies will not restart for about 20 min. Driving me crazy.

I suspect a crank position sensor fault, it will need to be checked/replaced

Hey man, mine did the same thing. I replaced all electrical firing components and it turned out to be the crankshaft position sensor.

I agree, and it does not usually trigger a check engine light.
