Overheating sometimes

Not always. Gauge goes up to warmer range but hasn't gone all the way up. The fan on radiator works. Don't see any leaks. It leaks out through the overflow reservoir.

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's thermostat starting to stick. Your vehicle has a thermostat in it that is designed to open at a certain temperature and let the coolant circulate to pull the heat away from your engine. If the thermostat is sticky, starting to fail, it could fail in the closed position, not opening, and causing your vehicle to overheat because it will not allow any coolant to circulate around the engine. I have included the thermostat specs and directions for the removal and installation of your vehicle's thermostat in the diagrams down below.
